Not a post

Thank you for posting in the Gift Idea Exchange. Not to be confusing, but this is not a post. This is a "please read the previous post" and "then post a comment" post.

I love hearing what people think/ are doing so please post and let me know what you're doing. Regular posts will resume soon, but I love hearing from you!!!!

Neat idea! I'm a super-frugal mom, so I'd give your girls a soap crayon maing kit (DIY instructions available online), an end roll from a print shop (HUGE paper), an unfolded cloth diaper (the ultimate in multi-function bath goodies), a bath scrunchie, and maybe foamy soap or something.

As for my kids, we don't know what type of gifting holiday we will have this year, as things are really tight. I plan to knit my eldest a scarf, and sew them both new patchwork winter coats. We'll see if I can make it by the deadline. *chuckle* My mate and I probably will not share gifts.

Cool... I didn't know you could get a soap making kit... I'll look into that! Thank you for the suggestion! And also, good idea on the end roll of paper... That is brillant! ... :-)

My husband and I aren't doing gifts this year. Actually we never do "gifts..." Well we decide together what we want and then that's our gift... Sometimes it is big (in 2004 a new bed) and sometimes it is more focused on time (we both take a day off work and have a lunch and afternoon together).

It seems so silly to us to stress about what to "buy" each other. We like each other.... We don't want to make the other person stress out about gifts! Our real gift to each other is less stress. :-)
